Unlike some commercial odour removers, baking soda is a non-toxic product that actually absorbs odours instead of simply masking them. It is an inexpensive alternative odour remover and can be used on its own or combined with essential oils or crushed flowers (for added fragrance).
Liberally sprinkle the baking soda (or mixture) onto carpet flooring and let it sit for one or more hours (or overnight for strong odours). Once the desired time has passed by simply vacuum the carpet flooring thoroughly.
